TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Circular Letter (SE) of the Minister of Manpower (Menaker) regarding Holiday Allowances or THR for workers/labourers is planned to be issued today, Monday, March 27 2023.
This was confirmed by the Director General for Development of Industrial Relations and Employment Social Security at the Ministry of Manpower or Kemnaker Indah Anggoro Putri.
“SE Menaker about THR, God willing, tomorrow (today) will be published,” Indah said via a written message on Tempo on Sunday, March 26, 2023.
The Deputy Minister of Manpower Afriansyah Noor emphasized that THR must be paid in full or full. He stated that THR must be given to workers/laborers who meet the requirements, cannot be paid in installments, and is paid on D-7 Eid.
“In essence, it is the same as last year’s THR, that THR for workers/laborers is mandatory to be paid in full to workers/laborers, cannot be paid in installments,” said Afriansyah in a written statement to TempoSunday, March 26, 2023.
Furthermore, Afriansyah said the THR for workers/laborers would be announced by the Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah. While the THR for ASN or state civil servants will be announced by President Joko Widodo or Jokowi.
“Workers are paid H-7 (Eid),” said Afriansyah.
Meanwhile, there has been a proposal for joint leave to be brought forward to April 19 to April 25, 2023. Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi said on Friday, March 24, 2023 that with this policy, people can go home from April 18 afternoon. So the government also urges employers to provide THR before April 19, 2023.
