Reportase.one, Jakarta – The Indonesian U-22 national team continues to hone themselves so they can achieve their target of winning gold at the 2023 SEA Games. They have already conducted one trial and will carry out three others in the future.
In its first match, the U-22 national team drew 1-1 with Bhayangka FC at the Bung Karno Madya Stadium, Jakarta, Tuesday evening, April 11, 2023.
Indra Sjafri’s team won a goal through Titan Agung Bagus Fawwazi. Meanwhile, the goal by Bhayangkara FC was scored by Dendy Sulistyawan.
Indra Sjafri admitted that his team still had things to improve on. He has also prepared the stages before appearing at the 2023 SEA Games.
“Our first trial target will be to make a game plan for every match that we will prepare for the SEA Games,” he said.
“Secondly, we will try to start selecting players where only 20 players will be brought to the SEA Games. Now we have approximately 34 players and these 34 players we have to find who is the best player.”

National Team Schedule for the 2023 SEA Games
