Reportase.one – The Dallas Mavericks made a blunder during the match against the Golden State Warriors which ended in a 125-127 defeat in the NBA match which was held at the American Airlines Center Texas, Thursday (23/3/2023) WIB.

The blunder moment occurred in the third quarter, where the Mavericks returned to the court after a timeout, but the players stood guard at the wrong basket.

This allowed the Warriors to freely dunk without a single opposing player into the Mavs basket to get two points.

“The way we managed and confused them was a great job,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr joked after the incident.

Stephen Curry scores a double with 20 points and 13 assists for the Warriors. Another double-double record was also scored by Kevon Looney with 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Jonathan Kuminga scored the highest score with 22 points, Jordan Poole 16 points and Draymond Green with Donte DiVincenzo each with 14 points.

While in the Mavericks camp, the highest points were scored by Luka Doncic, who had just returned from injury with 30 points and 17 assists. Doncic returned to action after missing five games with a left thigh injury.

The Mavericks are also playing without NBA All Star Kyrie Irving due to a leg injury.

Jaden Hardy added 27 points for the Mavericks, Christian Wood had 19, Reggie Bullock had 15, Dwight Powell had 13, Josh Green had 12.

Currently the Warriors are in sixth place in the Western Conference NBA standings with 38 wins 36 losses (38-36) and must win a number of games again to ensure a position in the playoffs.

While the Mavericks are still outside the playoff position, namely the order of nine in the same standings. However, the Mavericks’ record score is not much different from the Warriors, namely 36-37.
