Makassar (Reportase One) – The South Sulawesi Regional Police, PT Pos Indonesia and the South Sulawesi Bapenda have signed a cooperation agreement (MoU) regarding the delivery of confirmation letters for ETLE camera tickets and proof of online tax validation.
Director of Traffic for the South Sulawesi Regional Police, Kombes Pol Faizal in Makassar, Monday, said the signing of the cooperation agreement was a form of commitment to improving services to the community.
“The main points of cooperation are the sending of a ticket confirmation letter by PT Pos Indonesia via the ETLE camera and proof of online tax validation from the South Sulawesi Bapenda,” he said.
Kombes Pol Faizal explained that the sending of electronic traffic law enforcement (ETLE) camera ticket confirmation letters and proof of online tax validation is aimed at recipients with regular postal services with an agreed total fee.
At the signing of the cooperation agreement for the three institutions, it was carried out by the South Sulawesi Regional Police Wadirlantas, AKBP Satya Widhi Wdharyadi representing Dirlantas as the first party, the second party by the Head of the South Sulawesi Bapenda HA Sumardi and the third party from PT. Pos Indonesia Persero by Ronald Siahaan.
The signing of this cooperation agreement was also attended by the South Sulawesi Transportation Service and the Branch Head of PT. Jasa Raharja Sulsel and all main officials (PJU) of the South Sulawesi Regional Police Ditlantas as well as the Kasatlantas Polres ranks.
The South Sulawesi Polda Dirlantas added, currently there are around 16 ETLE surveillance camera points that are enabled to monitor the movement of motorists, especially in Makassar City.
“For ETLE camera monitoring, there are 16 points in Makassar. Currently, all problems related to ticket transactions have gone through the banking system and directly entered the country,” he said.
