Reportase.one – The police have prepared a strategy to regulate vehicles on toll roads during Eid homecoming. There are three traffic engineering prepared on the toll road, namely One, and Contra flow, an open and close system.
Unlike last year, this year’s One Way system did not take place from the Jakarta-Cikampek (Cikampek) toll road, but the system has only been implemented on the Cikopo-Palimanan (Cipali) toll road.
Meanwhile, the contra flow system will be carried out on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road. Meanwhile, the open and close system will be carried out at a number of points.
“The implementation of one way will be focused on the Cipali toll road, unlike last year which started from the Cikampek toll road to KM 414. For the Cikampek toll road, contra flow will only be applied, because there has been an addition of one lane, so according to calculations it can be done contraflow even if it is up to 2 up to 3 lanes,” said Dirgakkum Korlantas Polri Aan Suhanan as quoted from the official Korlantas website, Wednesday (5/4/2023).

In this case, the one way system is planned to be carried out at KM 72 of the Cipali toll road to KM 414 or ending at the Kalingangkung Toll Gate (GT). In addition, the one way system is also implemented at KM 422 to KM 442 of the Semarang-Bawen Toll Road.
Then, the contra flow system will be implemented starting from KM 47 of the Cikampek toll road to KM 72 of the Cipali toll road. This Contra Flow applies to the homecoming and returning homecoming of Eid.
In addition, Contra Flow is also applied situationally which also aims to anticipate overcrowding around the rest area.
Then, the open-close system is planned to be carried out if the Cisumdawu Toll Road is congested, one week the road needs to be closed or divert traffic from Cimalaka GT to the Sumedang Toll exit. If the Sumedang Toll Road is still busy, it will be diverted to the Pamulihan Toll exit.
