Mudik Lebaran 2023, PT Hutama Karya Infrastructure Functionalizes Two Toll Roads in South Sumatra and North Sumatra

Reportase.one, Palembang – PT Hutama Karya through its subsidiary PT HK Infrastruktur (HKI) ensures that two sections of the Trans Sumatra toll road (JTTS) can be passed by travelers. The two roads in question are in Binjai, North Sumatra (North Sumatra) and Prabumulih, South Sumatra (South Sumatra).

HKI Main Director Aji Prasetyanti explained that the two sections with functional status include the Binjai-Pangkalan section and the Indralaya-Prabumulih section. The 12 km Binjai-Pangkalan Brandan Toll Road Section 1 (Binjai-Stabat) was previously operational in 2022. This year, the continuation of the Binjai-Stabat Toll Road, namely the 7.2 km Stabat-Kuala Bingai will be functional for this year’s Eid homecoming .

“The physical progress of the Stabat-Kuala Bingai Toll Road as of April 7 2023 has reached 95% and has been functional since last Saturday,” he said, Sunday, April 16 2023. On this toll road section, HKI is also working on toll gates and toll gate offices located on Jalan Proklamasi, Kuala Bingai Village, Stabat District, Langkat Regency, which can be used when Idul Fitri homecoming.

The 64.5 km Indralaya-Prabumulih Toll Road will also be fully functional, along with two rest areas located at KM 56 namely the Rest Area on Route A (towards Prabumulih) and the Rest Area on Line B. In each of these rest areas, HKI works on a number of public facilities such as mosques, food courts, clinics, workshops, commercial buildings, and toilets. “What will be functional is a mosque with 4 toilets and ablution areas, as well as a food court with 7 women’s toilets and 5 men’s toilets.”
