Airlangga said that as of March 2023, investment realization in Lido SEZ was recorded as having reached Rp. 3.4 trillion, an increase of 72.5 percent compared to 2021. This investment includes investment in area development and investment in business actors in the area.

“The number of workers absorbed to date has reached 1,690 people, an increase of 67.6 percent or as many as 1,471 people compared to 2021,” he said.

Lido SEZ was established through Government Regulation Number 69 of 2021. Lido SEZ has an area of ​​approximately 1,040 hectares and targets investment realization of up to US$ 2.4 billion or Rp 32 trillion. In addition, this SEZ is expected to absorb a workforce of 29,545 people within 20 years.
