The phone that can take the shape of the letter T is the first and only device from LG in the new “Explorer series”. The update will likely be the last major update for the LG Wing, which launched with Android 10. In 2019 and 2020 LG promised three major updates on select models, such as LG Velvet 2 Pro and the LG V60, which has received Android 13 OTA.

The LG Wing has main specifications, including a 169.5 x 74.5 x 10.9 mm screen and weighs 260 grams. The device has a 6.8-inch Rotating P-OLED screen covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The processor used is Snapdragon 765 5G (7 nm) combined with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.
The main ultrawide camera on the back is 64 MP followed by 13 MP ultrawide and 12 MP also ultra wide with video capabilities 4K@30/60fps, 1080p@30/60fps, gyro-EIS. As for the 32 MP selfie with 1080p @ 30fps video capabilities. The capacity of the embedded battery is 4,000 mAh with a charging power of 13 W.
LG Announces New Brand Identity
Separately, LG introduced its new visual identity featuring a flatter digital logo and a lighter red color dubbed LG Active Red. The signature Life’s Good slogan will be used more widely across the brand and product packaging and feature a new typeface.
LG is going with a look that it calls, ‘more dynamic and youthful in hopes of reinventing its brand identity. “LG aims to be an iconic brand that resonates with consumers across generations and locations,” said William Cho, CEO of LG Electronics.
