LeBron James and Anthony Davis Lead the Lakers Topple the Bulls 121-110

Reportase.one – LeBron James and Anthony Davis led the Los Angeles Lakers to beat the Chicago Bulls with a score of 121-110 in the 2022-2023 NBA follow-up match which was held at the United Center Arena Chicago, Thursday (30/3/2023) WIB.

Anthony Davis scored a double-double for the Lakers with 38 points and 10 rebounds, while LeBron James, still adapting after missing 12 games due to injury, recorded 25 points and seven rebounds.

James has not performed 100 percent, considering that the basketball player with the most points in the world has an average of 27 points per game. James is also usually the top scorer in a game for his team.

James said there are still several processes to go through in his recovery phase to be able to return to 100 percent fitness and fully contribute to the team.

LeBron James missed 12 games with the Lakers for nearly an entire month. He has only played two games after recovering from injury, and has only been played in stages by the coach.

Currently the Lakers are fighting to maintain position for the opportunity to play in the playoffs. The Los Angeles Lakers are in eighth position in the Western Conference NBA standings with 38 wins and 38 losses (38-38).

The Lakers, who still have six games remaining, must remain vigilant because the competition in the mid-table is very tight. Above the Lakers are the Minnesota Timberwolves in seventh position with a 39-38 record.

Meanwhile, the New Orleans Pelicans in ninth place have the same record as the Lakers, which is 38-38. The Oklahoma City Thunder in 10th position also have a game record that is not much different, namely 38-39.
