London (Reportase One) – The European Union (EU) has become very hostile and Moscow will deal with them in a tough way if necessary, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in an interview broadcast on Tuesday.
“The European Union has ‘lost’ Russia. However, it is their own fault,” Lavrov told the Argumenty i Fatky website.
According to Lavrov, EU member states and leaders have openly spoken of the need for a strategic defeat for Russia.
Russia has already determined how to deal with a Europe that is already supplying the “criminal regime” in Kiev with weapons and training, he said.
“In response to these hostile steps, we will act with force when necessary, based on Russia’s national interests and the principle of reciprocity accepted in the practice of diplomacy,” he said.
