“They’ve practiced here twice, yesterday at main hall and today at practice court and everything went smoothly,” said women’s doubles coach Prasetyo Restu Basuki to the Public Relations and Media Team PBSI during practice on Monday afternoon, April 24, 2023.
“For each pair, we do have separate targets. But in general we want them to be able to raise to a higher level,” said Prasetyo.
Prasetyo revealed that the strategic factors on the field and fighting spirit were the evaluation of the players after the European tour, so that this would be improved in this championship.
“So we are increasing the portion there by analyzing a lot through match videos. In the afternoon there will be the last practice at main hallwe will be more mature,” said Prasetyo.
“In addition, fighting power on the field must be increased. You cannot be inferior to opponents whose level is above and you cannot underestimate opponents whose level is below them,” said the assistant coach Eng Hian That. In particular, Prasetyo said the Apri/Fadia pair, who had been bothered by injuries several times, were 100 percent fit this time.
