Jakarta (Reportase One) – Chairman of the Judicial Commission (KY) Part II for the July 2018-December 2020 period Jaja Ahmad Jayus, who was previously the victim of stabbing, died on Friday, April 21, 2023.

“Prayers to Pak Jaja who has preceded us all. The extended family of the Judicial Commission is deeply saddened by the passing of Pak Jaja,” said Judicial Commission spokesperson Miko Ginting, confirmed by Reportase One from Jakarta, Friday.

Jaja Ahmad reportedly died after becoming a victim of a stabbing attack on Tuesday (28/3). The stabbing case that happened to Jaja is known to have occurred at around 15.00 WIB in a housing complex in Bojongsoang District, Bandung Regency, West Java.

The former KY chairman’s house is in the GBA Block F complex, which is located on the border between Bandung Regency and Bandung City.

“Hopefully the family will be given strength and fortitude in facing this grief,” said Miko.

After the incident, Jaja and his son, who was also a victim, were rushed to Mayapada Hospital, Bandung City, West Java.

Jaja Ahmad suffered injuries to the back of his head and back of his neck, said Bandung Police Chief Kombes Pol Kusworo Wibowo.

Kusworo also said that, based on the statement of perpetrator A (35), Jaja Ahmad and his daughter were victims of random stabbing by the perpetrator.

“So his confession was that he did not plan to target the two victims, but he was looking for someone he could victimize around the Bojongsoang, Baleendah area at random,” said Kusworo Wibowo in Soreang, Bandung Regency, Wednesday (29/3).
