The 76ers’ win served as medicine to end the Philadelphia team’s three-game losing streak against the Denver Nuggets, Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors.

The record of three straight losses is the 76ers’ worst record during the 2022-2023 season.

Meanwhile, the Dallas Mavericks are in danger of having no chance at all to play in the playoffs if they remain in their current position.

The Mavericks are 11th in the NBA Western Conference standings with a record of 37 wins 40 losses (37-40). While in 10th place, the Oklahoma City Thunder perched with a record of 38-39. The Mavericks are now five games away from completing the NBA regular season.

Rank 10 is the most recent position for the team to have the opportunity to compete in the play-off round. Teams from one to six in the standings will qualify automatically for the play-off round, while teams from seven to 10 will compete first in the play-in round to fight for two tickets in the play-off round.
