Jakarta (Reportase One) – The Directorate of Cyber Crime (Dittipidsiber) Bareskrim Polri is processing a police report filed by Yogi Arie Rukmana against the chairman of Indonesia Police Watch (IPW) Sugeng Teguh Santoso (STS) for alleged defamation.
“We have handled (the report) and are still processing it,” said the Director of Tipidsiber (Dirtipidsiber) Bareskrim Polri Brigadier General Pol. Adi Vivid Agustiadi Bachtiar in Jakarta, Friday.
However, Vivid did not explain how far Yogi’s report process had progressed, including who had been asked for clarification regarding the report.
Yogi Arie Rukmana reported Sugeng Teguh Santoso to Bareskrim Polri in Jakarta, Wednesday (15/3), for alleged defamation.
Yogi is a personal assistant to Deputy Minister of Law and Human Rights (Wamenkumham) Edward Omar Sharif Hiariej who was reported to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) by Sugeng for allegedly receiving gratuities.

In the report to the KPK, Sugeng stated that Edward received gratuities through two people who were recognized as personal assistants, one of whom was Yogi Arie Rukmana.
Regarding these accusations, Yogi stated that almost everything that was stated by Sugeng was untrue. Yogi said let the legal process answer these accusations and prove who was right and who was wrong.
Contacted separately, Sugeng Teguh Santoso stated that he was ready to face the report.
“I am ready to face the report; all that needs to be asked is what am I accused of?” Sugeng said.
