Reportase.one – The Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi men’s volleyball team managed to defeat Surabaya BIN Samator with a score of 3-1 (25-17, 25-15, 20-25 and 25-20), in the PLN Mobile Proliga 2023 final round of the final four series at the Sritex Arena Solo Sports Hall. , Central Java, Saturday (11/3/2023).

These results opened up opportunities for Rendy Tamamilang and his friends to qualify for the grand final. It’s just that for certainty we are still waiting for the results of the final match between the defending champions Jakarta LaVani Allo Bank against Jakarta STIN BIN, Sunday (12/3/2023).

Bhayangkara Presisi in the first set sent Daudi Okello, Nizar Julfikar, Yuda Mardiansyah, Hernanda Zulfi, Rendy Febriant Tamamilang, and Garrett Thomas Muagututia. Meanwhile, Surabaya BIN Samator fielded Daouda Yocoubou, Paulo Iury Barbosa, Ageng Wardoyo, Rivan Nurmulki, I Putu Randu and Agil Angga.

With the main target to win, Bhayangkara Presisi immediately pressed in the first set. These conditions put pressure on the opponent, namely Surabaya BIN Samator, so they were able to take this fairly tight set with a score of 25-17.

Bhayangkara Presisi’s dominance also occurred in the second set. His foreign player, Daudi Okello, really performed well by packing lots of points. The team, whose majority of players were police, seemed to dominate the match, ending the second set 25-15.

Winning 2-0 caught Bhayangkara Presisi off guard. Surabaya BIN Samator led by Rivan Nurmulki was able to take advantage of this condition to suppress. As a result, the team from East Java was able to take the third set with 25-20 and changed the position to 1-2.

Not wanting to slip, Bhayangkara Presisi immediately got up in the fourth set. Daudi Okello to Hernanda Zulfi continued to apply pressure. As a result, they returned to appear dominant so they were able to end the fourth set with 25-20 and make the position 3-1.

Assistant coach of Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi Ayip Rizal immediately congratulated his players for winning the match against Samator. Moreover, these results open up the opportunity to qualify for the grand final even with a note.

“We hope LaVani can beat Jakarta STIN BIN and our team can enter the grand final. That’s why we will maintain the condition of the players to prepare for the grand final in Yogyakarta,” he said.

Meanwhile, Surabaya BIN coach Samator Ryan Masajedi said his team had played well, but there were indeed mistakes especially in receiving the first ball and serving.
