Bapanas Calls Distribution of Food Social Assistance in the Following 10 Provinces Complete

Reportase.one, Jakarta – The National Food Agency (Bapanas) said that the distribution of social assistance or food assistance for rice, chicken and eggs continues to be improved. How much has been distributed?

The Head of Bapanas Arief Prasetyo Adi said that until H-1 of Eid, the Logistics Agency (Bulog) continued to distribute rice assistance to 21.3 million Beneficiary Families or KPM spread throughout Indonesia.

“As of April 20, 2023, it was recorded that the distribution of the first phase of rice food aid had reached 71 percent or as much as 151,925 tons out of a total distribution of 213,530 tons,” Arief said through his official statement on Friday, April 21, 2023.

Based on this amount, continued two, Bulog has distributed rice social assistance to around 15.1 million KPM spread across 38 provinces in Indonesia.

“This number will still increase today, because Bulog is still distributing it until D-1 Eid,” said Arief.

According to him, based on the data collected, there are 10 provinces that have completed distributing rice social assistance, namely Aceh, Riau Islands, Jambi, South Sumatra, Bangka Belitung, Bengkulu, Papua, West Papua, South Papua and DKI Jakarta.

“It is recorded that in 10 provinces the realization has reached 100 percent. Other provinces are still being accelerated. Some (provinces) are already above 80 percent, such as Southeast Sulawesi, East Java, Southwest Papua, Central Java, Riau and DI Yogyakarta,” said Arief.
