From Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at 23.30 until the next day, Wednesday, at 01.30, it was seen that travelers using four-wheeled vehicles packed the exits of Bakauheni Port.
Even though there are these vehicles pushing out of the port area, but not until there is too long a buildup of vehicles and the movement of vehicles is monitored smoothly.
One of the travelers, Joni, said that traveling by private vehicle from Merak Harbor, Banten, to Bakauheni takes approximately three to four hours to sail.
“Tonight’s trip was quite tiring sir, there was quite a traffic jam at Merak Harbor,” said the 45-year-old man.
General Manager of PT ASDP Bakauheni Branch, Rudi Sunarko, previously predicted that the peak homecoming flow at Bakauheni Port, Lampung Province, would occur on D-3 or three days before Eid 2023.
